The Lymphatic System: The 7 Most Important Things You Need To Know
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
The Lymphatic System is miserably overlooked when evaluating overall Health and Wellness. It needs to be managed and maintained for our bodies to function properly in regards to the delivery of fuels and nutrients to the cells, but more importantly for the elimination of toxic wastes.
The Lymphatic System is one of the most important, yet one of the most overlooked systems of the human body. Most people are familiar with the "Lymph Nodes" or "Lymph Glands" in the area of the armpits or the groin but beyond that it is a complete mystery about what it is, how it works, or why it is so important.
The first little known fact is:
There is twice as much Lymph Fluid in our bodies than there is Blood. We commonly think of the Cardiovascular System as our only Circulatory System, however, that is not true. The Lymph System is twice the size of our Blood System; there are twice as many vessels to transport the Lymph as there are in the network of veins, arteries, and capillaries.
A very high percentage of the debilitating illnesses that are frequently termed as "Lifestyle Diseases" or Degenerative Diseases" could be minimized, reduced, or eliminated if the Lymph System were kept clean, un-clogged and flowing freely.
The human body is largely made up of Water. Some of that water is of course found in the Blood but a far greater amount makes up the Lymph Fluid. The cells of our bodies "float" in a "sea" of Lymph called the Interstitial Fluid. It is in this fluid and in this process that the nutrients and fuel are carried to our cells and the wastes and toxic materials are carried off.
Unlike the Cardiovascular System, the Lymph System has no pump; it does not have the Heart Muscle to circulate it through out the body. The transportation of the Lymph Fluid is totally dependent on the movement of the muscles and the action of breathing.
Keeping the Lymphatic System clean and clear is as important to the way our bodies function as the bloodstream. Maintenance requires a sensible diet, stress reduction, consistent movement or exercise, and the conscious practice of deep breathing.
Consuming ample amounts of fresh, organically-grown foods is optimum. Dark-skinned fruits and dark green vegetables are usually the best indicator of high-antioxidant, alkaline foods that work to fight excess oxidation and help balance the pH chemistry. Lean meats in moderate amounts are good sources of protein, as well as consciously grown beans and legumes. Supplementing with dairy products is acceptable within moderation. With the over abundance of cheap Wheat finding its way into many foods, avoiding grains is a good practice due to gluten intolerance.
Exercise and Breathing can work hand in hand. More important than "which" exercise you do, the most important consideration is consistency. Walking moderate to long distances is the perfect exercise; it causes greater flow of the Lymph Fluid due to the muscles working for an extended period of time but more importantly it engages the act of Deep Breathing. Deep Breathing is as important as the act of exercising. It helps massage the Thoracic Duct in the neck, causing the fluid to flow generously, emptying into the veins and becoming part of the blood plasma, then returning to the Liver for metabolizing and then to the Kidneys for filtering. The more time spent on exercise and breathing, the larger number of cycles the Lymph System performs, greatly enhancing the clean, smooth flow of fuels and wastes.
The more diligent we are at keeping our Lymphatic System clean, the greater our ability for physical and mental performance, the less toxic acid waste build up, and therefore the decreased incidence of degenerative disease.

Jacks Or Better - How to Win
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
In Jacks or Better poker game, there are six main focus or game play strategies in starting a good hand.
It consists of:
1. Two pair or higher
2. Pay pair
3. Non-pay pair
4. Two or more pay cards, unpaired
5. One pay card only
6. No pay cards at all
Pay cards are defined as a Jack, Queen, King, or Ace in the game play.
If you have a two pair or higher in hand, hold on to your hands as you are on a winning path with or without you drawing from the deck.
If you have a pay pair in hand, it brings in more profit or chances of winning extras after the redraw.
In certain cases, non pay pairs do not allowed for a payout in and of themselves, making the pair not qualify but it has it potential for redrawing for an improved hand with a two pair or three of a kind as a winning hand.
Keep to the lowest tow suited pay cards it you have two or more pay cards in your hand which is unpaired. The lowest two suited pay cards are preferred over the lowest two unsuited pay cards due to the fact that the cards in hand have the potential of a straight flush.
If you have one pay card in hand, hold the card rather than discarding all your cards. Discard all five cards and cross your finger at the redraw if there is no pay card.

Water Based Concrete Sealer for Driveways
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
This article details how a concrete sealer for driveways helps protect your concrete surfaces.
A concrete sealer for driveways helps protect the overall value of your home. So, if you want to raise the value of your home, you should improve your driveway. You should improve both its appearance and utility. Whether it is paved with concrete, asphalt, or pavers, the surface of your driveway should be smooth and sturdy. You should choose a good driveway sealer that would keep your driveway in top shape. It should effectively block ultraviolet rays and prevent color fading. It should be able to fill porous surfaces and prevent oil and grease from staining them as well as make them easier to maintain.
Choose a driveway sealer that can protect your driveway against harsh weather conditions as well as rain and snow. It should be able to keep water from seeping through and collecting puddles beneath the surface of your driveway; thus, preventing frost heaves and cracks from occurring. In addition, it should be able to repel water and fill porous surfaces. If your driveway is concrete, you should use a water based driveway sealer such as acrylic and epoxy. You can even incorporate design elements or use a tinted variety if you want your plain driveway to brighten up, become glossy, or have a matte finish.
Keep in mind that the driveway sealer cannot function at its best if the surface of the driveway is not thoroughly cleaned. Hence, you should see to it that you sweep up all grime and dirt, and scrub off all stains. You should also watch out for petroleum contamination caused by oil stains or spots. This form of contamination is the reason why a concrete driveway sealer does not adhere properly. It mucks and messes up the boundary that is why the coating is not able to bond and permeate with the concrete. If you want your driveway to be cleaned thoroughly, you should use a pressure washer, a degreaser, a broom, and a power washer.
Make sure that the concrete surface has dried before you apply the driveway sealer. You can use a brush or a nap roller. After applying the sealant, you should wait for at least eighteen hours before you use the driveway. Keep your children and pets away from the driveway until the driveway sealer has completely set and dried. On the other hand, if your driveway is asphalt, you should still consider using water based driveway sealer that can protect your driveway against cracking, water damage, and ultraviolet rays. Remember that asphalt driveways are black and tend to absorb a lot of heat from the sun.
So, if you do not want them to degrade, you should choose a coal-tar asphalt driveway sealer. It is water based and can provide years of protection. It may also contain clay, latex, and polymers. Although it is quite similar to its oil-based counterpart, it is actually more resistant to gas and oil spills. This water based asphalt driveway sealer can help prevent early damage as well as guarantee easy maintenance. You can re-seal your driveway every five years or so.

Homeowners Insurance - Six Risks Not Covered
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
Unknown to many homeowners, homeowners insurance doesn't cover many risks to their homes. This article covers six of the most common risks not covered.
Millions of Americans mistakenly believe their homeowner’s insurance covers hazards that are excluded from basic policies, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) reports. The group’s most recent survey finds that roughly a third of homeowners do not know that their homeowners insurance does not cover common types of home damage. Here are six areas of confusion:
1) Automobiles and boats. More than two thirds (68 percent) of the homeowners surveyed thought that damage to automobiles and boats parked on their property was covered by home owners insurance. This is false. Vehicles require separate insurance.
2) Earthquake losses. Thirty-five percent of respondents to the NAIC survey believed that their standard homeowners insurance covered losses from earthquakes. Not so. Insurance against earthquake damage is available to most homeowners, but it must be purchased separately. The cost varies from one area to another, depending on the likelihood of an earthquake striking. Alaska, California, and Hawaii lead the nation in the number and destructiveness of earthquakes, but severe earthquakes have occurred in the Mississippi Valley, the Southeast, and the Northeast. Earthquakes cause $4.4 billion in damage each year, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Insurance companies stopped offering earthquake insurance in California in 1994, after a severe earthquake struck the Los Angeles suburb of Northridge. The California legislature passed a law that requires property insurance companies doing business in California to offer limited earthquake insurance through the California Earthquake Authority (CEA), a state-backed insurance pool.
3) Mold removal. Colonies of mold growing in a home pose a health risk to the residents. The problem is so widespread and the cost of removal so high that insurers exclude mold damage from standard life insurance policies, a fact that 34 percent of those surveyed the NAIC did not know.
4) Flood destruction. Fully 33 percent of homeowners surveyed by the NAIC believe that the destruction caused by a flood is covered by traditional home owner insurance. Those respondents are misinformed. Flood insurance is available, but only as a separate policy and only from the government. Private insurers got out of the flood business in 1968, when the U.S. Congress created the National Flood Insurance Act. The law established the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), a program that provides flood insurance to people living in communities that take flood control measures. Homeowners living Special Flood Hazard Areas are required by law to purchase flood insurance.
5) Pest infestations. Slightly less than a third of respondents to the NAIC survey believe that damage caused by household pests, such as termites, ants, rats, and mice, is covered by their standard homeowners insurance. This is a fallacy. Pests are so widespread and cause so much damage that private insurance companies cannot afford to insure against the losses they generate. Homeowners must be vigilant in controlling infestations of termites and other pests.
6) Pet destruction. Almost two thirds (63 percent) of American homes have at least one pet living in them, according to 2007-2008 National Pet Owner’s Survey conducted by the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association. More than 43 million households own dogs, and 38 million own cats. Rabbits, rats, birds, and tropical fish are also prevalent. Chances are a child’s goldfish is not going to damage a house, but other animals can wreak a surprising amount of destruction. Pet damage is not covered by homeowners insurance, nor is harm to the pets themselves, a fact that comes as a surprise to more than one fifth (22 percent) of homeowners, according to the NAIC.
People sometimes refer to their home as their castle, but the typical American home is fragile, easily damaged by any number of destructive forces. A significant number of homeowners assume that their homeowners insurance provides blanket coverage against losses incurred on their property. This can be a costly assumption, especially since a home typically is the largest asset a family owns. To protect their investments, homeowners need to understand what kinds of damage are covered by their policies and where they are exposed to risk. They should then ask their insurance agents what types of additional policies, riders, and endorsements are available to safeguard their homes against disaster.

Problems Between MT4 Simulation Results EA and Actual Live Trading Result
Simulation result can be a good proof that your trading strategy works but there are many factors that are not able to be simulated and have to be taken in to account when dealing with live trading.
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
a) Bid-Ask spread.
This spread is normally between 2 to 4 pips for major currency pair USDJPY, EURUSD, USDCHF, GBPUSD, etc but when there are news and major movement, the spread will increase to 5 to 9 pips and 10 - 15 pips and even 16+ pips and more. This means when you buy, you already receive negative 16+ pips on that trade.
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
Simulation does not cover this spread as the bid-ask is always base on the latest spread in the MT4 server. Thus, news created wide pips spread are not able to capture and the buy-sell trade are not accurately simulated. This change in pips has to be taken into account when simulating by taking 2 measures. Number 1 is to set the spread limited in your EA to below 8 pips to execute a trade. Anything more then 8 will not execute any trade. Number 2 is to set your profit or trigger level -9 pips then your usual profit level when simulating. This will make sure the spread is take into account.
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
b) Server availability.
This is limited to the market demand, as more trade enter, the server will be overloaded and cause server busy when you want to buy or sell a currency. Then you have to execute the trade again. In case, the spread will change and affect your trade profits. Different server will have various spread and ask at the same time.Server busy will cause your trade to be invalid.
Simulate does not cover the server busy. So you have to code in a server busy reply from server and to wait 1 or 2 seconds before retry executing the trade again using "IsTradeContextBusy()". This will allow your EA to retry again when encounter server busy. You may want to have up to 5 times or 1 minute of retry.
c) Log in. This is due to the internet connection with the MT4 server. The account is consistently ping to maintain its loggin status. When internet connection is disrupted, the auto log in will continue and at times you will see a couple of login entry in your journal.
Simulate does not over this login portion. So you have to code in to get data from the server via "RefreshRates()", This will allow the EA to try login your account prior to executing any trade.
Lastly, if you take into account the above issue, your simulation results can be a benchmark to your live trading result. Thank you

Hearing Center: Could Nutrition Stop Natural Auditory Loss?
Auditory loss is a part of aging, as any hearing center, doctor, or gerontology major will tell you. But does it have to be? As it turns out, studies indicate that what we eat could have a lot to do with what we hear.
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
Auditory loss is a part of aging, as any hearing center, doctor, or gerontology major will tell you. But does it have to be? Certainly, not everyone suffers from such a disability when they get old, although it is common. Is it just the luck of the draw? A combination of good genetics and the avoidance of loud noise volumes? Or could it be something more? As it turns out, studies indicate that what we eat could have a lot to do with what we hear. We all know that vitamins and other nutrients are important for our general health, but it turns out that it could have a big impact on the health of our ears.
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
Not only are studies showing that the inclusion of certain vitamins can stave off the need for a visit to the hearing center, but they also indicate that making up for a deficiency could actually improve one's ability to hear. This is unlikely to be the case unless the deficiency was the original reason for your auditory loss, but this is certainly something to be aware of. Especially since the vast majority of Americans eat what few would consider a balanced diet or make any attempt to cover the gaps in their diet with good multivitamins.
Vitamin D is one of the prime nutrients that studies have examined in conjunction with auditory loss. The vitamin is already widely known as a boon to healthy bone strength and growth, but it isn't often connected to your ability to hear. A lack of vitamin D, however, can easily lead to osteopenia, which is where the bones in the body become porous and lose many of the minerals that keep them strong. If osteopenia occurs in the bones of the ear, it can easily lead to deafness or a lesser degree of auditory loss. The good news is that getting an appropriate amount of the vitamin back into your system can reverse the process and restore your senses.
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
Vitamin D is far from the only nutrient responsible for both good and bad hearing. Magnesium, vitamin C and E, glutathione, and zinc are also among the vitamins and minerals studies have looked at as showing promising results when taken by those who have suffered some loss of auditory function. While your local hearing center isn't likely to put you on a regimen of multivitamins in lieu of a listening aid anytime soon, it's worth making sure you're getting enough of each important vitamin to both protect your ears and give yourself the best health possible.

Choosing Between Prepaid and Postpaid Plans
A shopper looking for reasonable cell phone plans must spend a lot of time and dedicate a lot of effort to ensure that they get the most suitable plan for their lifestyle. There are people who prefer to have plans where they pay their cell phone bills at the end of the month, while others prefer to load the air time on their phones each time they need to make calls. All these plans are available to any interested individual as long as he or she can fulfill the requirements and maintain the plan of their choice. There are people who do not do well when bound by a contract, or their credit history does not allow them to acquire a prepaid phone; then the reasonable option would be to go for a postpaid cell phone plan that does not have too many limitations. Prepaid plans constitute most of the new cell phone plans which are devoid of the many complications of the postpaid plan, which is considered to be more traditional.
The advantage of using a prepaid plan includes freedom from obligations. These plans do not require the user to sign a contract or produce documentation concerning their credit history. Users only pay for the amount of services they actually use, so hidden charges do not come up. In addition, the prepaid phones come with a lot of features that the user can use to complete more than just their communication tasks. Because users purchase their credit on a regular basis, when they do not use their phones their expense is much less.
This plan, however, also comes with its drawbacks. Because users have to fill up credits to use their phone, it can become a challenge when they want to make a call and their credit is limited. Furthermore, if they are in a situation where there are no dealers nearby and they have an emergency, the phones become useless if they do not have enough air time left. Another disadvantage has to deal with the expiration of the credits on the phone, whether or not they have been used. Some companies simply terminate the service until the user fills up on credits and this can be a big inconvenience for people who planned to manage their bills.
Because each plan has its advantages and disadvantages, the wise thing to do is to consider the details of each plan and then decide which best suits your needs.

Creating Job Security, Higher Pay, and Developing
Where could you grow from a proposal writer? In this field, there is always a way to command higher pay, be more in demand, and ultimately become a more successful professional with a high success record -whether you are an employee or a consultant.
We got a question from one of our class attendees as to how she could expand into other fields in the proposal profession. Where could she grow from a proposal writer? Truthfully, in this field, there is always a way to command higher pay, be more in demand, and ultimately become a more successful professional with a high success record -whether you are an employee or a consultant. Today’s article is about how to go about it – but it is also relevant to you if you run a team of business developers and proposal professionals because this is how you will develop your “regular” BD capability into a high-functioning machine.

The market is getting more competitive – not only for companies competing for the same work, but also for people who help in business development – from strategy to proposals. Greater competition means prices falling, and proposal work becoming commoditized. Proposal professionals narrowly specialized in one field (for example, proposal coordination, proposal management, or desktop publishing), who have always been in high demand, find themselves in less secure positions, getting smaller raises – and if consulting, seeing more gaps between jobs, and not seeing any opportunity to raise their rates.
The ones who will find themselves in consistently higher demand are those who will venture into adjacent fields to maximize their chances to increase capabilities, and with these capabilities, their pay grade.
There are natural career paths for certain professions:
Proposal manager would expand their demand and value by adding a capability of capture management, and perhaps even orals coaching if your customer set uses orals; technical writing, pricing, desktop publishing, and graphics skills would increase a proposal manager’s versatility and value for an all-in-one type of solution which now comes in handy even in large companies.
Capture manager would add proposal management or on the other end of the spectrum, business development and even business development strategy.
Technical writer should consider proposal coordination and proposal management as a career path if they are comfortable with higher levels of responsibility over the team.
Proposal coordinators could venture into DTP and graphics, or step up and become proposal managers (adding leadership and solution development skills to their repertoire).
For department heads, investing into a more versatile proposal department means several things:
Higher success rate in winning proposals because of a better quality staff – which is definitely worth a relatively small investment into cross-training and rewards for high performers.
Ability to rotate personnel from one role to another on a variety of proposals, preventing team burnout; for example, someone tired from leading a high-paced proposal could play a technical writer or a capture manager role on the next one, getting a much-needed reprieve.
Let us know what you think, and if you have any questions about your career path or how to grow your business development teams in the most efficient way.
